BRAYTEN PRINGAULT
Born in Durban on South Africa’s east coast, Brayten fell in love with the ocean from the moment he touched the water. With surfing in his blood — a surfer dad and a mum who transitioned from boogie boarding to surfing — life at the beach was second nature.
At just three years old, Brayten stood up on his very first wave, riding a tiny shoreline runner down the line. That moment sealed it — from then on, the ocean became home.
After moving to Australia at the age of five, Brayten found himself in what felt like surfing paradise on the Gold Coast. Surrounded by world-class waves and endless time in the sun, his passion for surfing only grew stronger — and it still drives him today.
