How to use
Put it on before your child heads outside, on dry skin, and don't skimp. Because it's rich in zinc it starts out thick: rub a dab between your fingertips to soften it, then work it in until it disappears.
Reapply every two hours, and after swimming, sweating or towel drying. Keep it out of your eyes. For children over 6 months, and grown-ups too. Keep babies under 6 months out of direct sun.

Apply liberally at least 20 minutes prior to sun exposure. Do not rub in. Reapply every 2 hours & after swimming or towelling.

Kids sunscreen questions
What age is it for?
From 6 months old. Babies younger than that should stay out of direct sun, with shade, clothes and a hat instead of sunscreen. There's also Baby SPF 30 for babies and toddlers.
Kids SPF 50 or Baby SPF 30?
Both use 25% non-nano zinc oxide as the only active ingredient and have no artificial fragrance. Kids is SPF 50 high protection for busy, outdoor kids. Baby is SPF 30, with apricot kernel oil in the cream.
When do kids need sunscreen?
Whenever the UV index is 3 or above, which in most of Australia is most of the year. Check the daily UV forecast in the free SunSmart app or on the Bureau of Meteorology website.
Does it contain fragrance?

Does it go on white?
All that zinc can look pale at first. Keep rubbing and it settles in.
Is it water resistant?
Only the water resistance printed on the label applies, and it's in the label information on this page. If the label doesn't give one, don't rely on it in the water. Either way, reapply after swimming, sweating or towel drying.
Any tips for getting kids to wear it?
Make it part of the routine: sunscreen, hat, shoes, out the door. Many parents let kids pick a coloured zinc stick for their nose, so they can see where it's on.
Can adults use it?
Yes. It's SPF 50 for anyone over 6 months.
