Cancer Council suggests around 35mL, about 7 teaspoons, for an adult's whole body. Most people use far less.

Ultra Clear questions
Why is it called Ultra Clear Zinc if it's only 5% zinc?
Zinc oxide is one of its three active ingredients, alongside octocrylene and avobenzone. Together they give SPF 50+ very high protection in a lotion that rubs in clear. If you'd like zinc oxide as the only active ingredient, choose Pure Zinc SPF 50.
Is it waterproof?
Nothing is waterproof, sunscreen included. It's rated 4 hours water resistant. Still reapply every two hours, and after swimming, sweating or towel drying.
Does it go on white?
It's designed to disappear as you rub it in.
Is it OK on my face?
Yes. Keep it out of your eyes.
Can children use it?
Yes, children over 6 months.
